VERSACE F/W 2011-2012

Is a collection that insists on minidresses close to the body with small cuts and splits, flat and pleated skirts. Donatella Versace alternates a series of military coats with coin-buttons and dresses decorated with macro rococo scrolls and stylized flowers. Sinuous shapes close to the body with narrow shoulders. Luxury is in the leather, python inlays and fur. Marabou feathers for the evening.

GIANFRANCO FERRE F/W 2011-2012

Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi have designed for Ferré fashion house a rigorous, modern, simple and refined collection, with architectural volumes and no frills. Lines are sharp and graphic, everything is absolutely wearable, nothing is superfluous. A practical, true and concrete wardrobe for the day (knee length) and for the evening (not just from the red carpet). We needed this collection with colors from white pearl to black, from ash to blue.

GABRIELE COLANGELO F/W 2011-2012

As usual, Gabriele Colangelo offers for his collection a strong research on materials and processes that allow to obtain effects inspired by Alberto Burri's art. Colangelo assembles very worked and heterogeneous materials, textures, torn, felted and corroded fabrics, in unique colors from red lava to malachite green. Straight and linear shapes, with a male touch on jackets and trousers. Straight skirts, with contrast veils, simple coats with fur inserts on the back. An elegant style, very faithful to the original mood, despite the difficulty to propose a hermetic fashion.

Lady Gaga's Blood Perfume?

Last month the news that Lady Gaga's first fragrance would smell like blood and semen.

Now Lady Gaga has confirmed telling Australian radio hosts Kylie and Jackie O: " I wanted to extract the feeling and the scent of the blood and semen from molecular structures, so that's were that (report) came from". Molecular structure? What the hell???? She' s totally CRAZY!!!

Gaga explained: "Blood and semen are in the perfume but it doesn't smell like that, you just get the after feeling of sex from the semen and the blood is primal. The perfume smells like an expensive hooker".

ANTONIO MARRAS F/W 2011-2012

Antonio Marras has dedicated this collection to his mother who embodies all the women. Wrong! She embodies all the women who know how to dress tastefully, not rush to find the trend and are superior to fashion. Marras is a genius to mix blue and black in the same dress: very chic combination! A lot of crochet, embroideries and pleated for elongated and fluid silhouettes in the straight dresses, and then skirts and dress with superimposed veils, trapezoidal reefer and short collarless jackets. Beautiful Mary Jane with leather and croco platform.

ALBINO F/W 2011-2012

Albino is inspired by New York as a city of art, experimental and never predictable. Albino's woman is very chic without exaggeration. Coats and fur jackets embellished with lurex threads. Straight dresses that are gradually becoming more complex volumes. Tight pants and short skirts. A lot of tweed, wool, mohair and fur mixed with hi-tech materials such as neoprene. It's a sophisticated collection: patterns and basic pieces, unique tones and complex architectures.
