Instead, the next role of Carine Roitfeld will be that of guest editor and stylist for Barneys New York, one of the most important US department store.

Carine Roitfeld shifts to retail world and will style the fall/winter 2011-2012 ad campaign shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti.

Tom Ford: Spring/Summer 2011

After having been the creative director of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, after a long list of perfumes, cosmetics, sunglasses; after provocative advertising campaigns, a deluxe line of menswear and the amazing director of the movie A single man; after he has been for 6 years away from women's fashion, Tom Ford returns with a glossy and luxurious women's collection, the first to have his name.

The entire collection was presented last September at the last edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week of New York, with a top-secret fashion show involving journalists, the most influential fashion editors and photographer Terry Richardson.

Is finally available online the video of the spring/summer 2011; finally everyone will know what it is. The collection is recently appeared only in Vogue America and Vogue Paris the December 2010/ January 2011 issue, that the same Mr. Ford has directed...some people even rumored that Ford could take the place of Carine Roitfeld in the offices of rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré.

The news was given by http://www.vogue.fr/. After 10 years, Carine Roitfeld has decided to leave Vogue Paris to follow her personal projects. Under her leadership, and in a short time, the magazine had become a reference point for anyone. She gave to the magazine a new, sensual and Paris cut, thanks to her experience as a stylist and collaborations with the best photographer and fashion designer. Carine Roitfeld, Mario Testino and Tom Ford have made sensational fashion stories. Vogue Paris will miss her insight, talent and her editorials. A new era begins and it's not for the better.

Tom & Terry: gay kiss for Vogue Paris

The set of this kiss was the same of the shooting "Wild West" for the December issue of Vogue Paris.
The French edition of Vogue has always played with sexual ambiguity and sex in general, especially since Carine Roitfeld is the editor-in-chief. Terry Richardson and Tom Ford have collaborated often with Vogue Paris, increasing the erotic charge of the magazine.

For this shooting, Tom Ford has been involved in all: photos, styling and contents and also the photographer Terry Richardson was on the set. Richardson gave a Brokeback Mountain kiss to Texan designer and took the photo.

Some people consider this picture the best in the career of Richardson. Exaggeration!
Richardson doesn't always produce images of high-class, but this is not the best picture although it's very ironic.
