PRADA F/W 2011-2012

Prada never misses a shot, and her woman is always the most modern that you can imagine, others are watching and learning.
Mrs. Prada imagines a Dutiful Daughter, original and eccentric, that upsets all the elements that are part of the wardrobe of a sexy vamp woman. Prada imagines the 60's and proves that you can use the python colored, fur and macro-sequins in a different way. There are the trapeze dresses, college coats with metallic buttons, macro-lapels, fur collars and pleated skirts; there are the bags that held close to chest and very low belts. Beautiful abstract graphics and the trompe l'oeil boots that seem socks tucked into baby shoes. An amazing collection!

Fur stole

It's a "must have" of summer, is the Prada's fox stole.
Long, soft, bulky, surprising and funny as a stuffed animal with its shocking colors. The rule is PLAY DOWN. Mrs. Prada recommend placing it instead of the bag.

Fast Fashion is not for Prada!

If you dream of a Prada's dress at bargain prices, if you plan on queuing up outside H&M for a Miuccia's creation, as you did for Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Viktor & Rolf and Lanvin, forget it!

The lady of italian fashion told the USA newspaper WWD that she never considered the idea to put her style in the service of low cost clothing giants.
Why? She doesn't like the idea of a rough copy of what a designer does for his label; if she had an ingenious idea to do a good low cost fashion, she would do. But at this time, Ms. Prada thinks that this capsule collection are the bad and cheap version of good and expensive clothes.

Miuccia Prada will continue to dress only the Devil!

Milan man DAY 2

Prada

Since the first exit we could guess that the Prada men's collection, for next winter, was a well-cut collection with minimal lines. Mrs. Prada seduces with the large and oversize coats be worn on a wonderful shirts made with metallic threads. Low crotch trousers and knickerbockers over socks made with the same T-shirts' yarn. A lot of black and grey, the perfect Prada-style, but also shiny green and blue, brown, pink and some geometric patterns. Some rétro look, and the shoes are a terrifying mix of a shoe with laces and the orthopedic version of "Frankenstein".

Bottega Veneta

The creative director, Tomas Maier, has scrambled the fabrics giving to suit an unfinished effect which has been used over and over again. It's a real shame because this "fashion abuse" diverts attention from the beautiful Montgomery, mustard and orange wool coats and colourful jackets. But on accessories such ill-treatment had a positive effect: a gorgeous maxi version it-bag Sac Tresse with ragged strips of leather.

Vivienne Westwood

The "lipstick man" of Vivienne Westwood is different in each outfit; everyone wears a different style on the catwalk: a mix of traditional and contemporary look. The Vivienne Westwood winter collection offers a wide range of mixable garments. Source of inspiration is the UK with its tartan, Prince of Wales and melange wool on high-waisted trousers with low crotch and well-cut jackets.
