Karl Lagerfeld. Percorso di lavoro
At Chiostro del Bramante in Rome, Kaiser Karl tells about himself through the ad campaigns for Chanel and Fendi, portraits of celebrities, editorials for all the international magazines, to arrive at private photographs that tell his travels, memories, aesthetic appeals and his love for Paris, his adopted city since 1953.
The exhibition is divided into two sections, the first dedicated to fashion, portraits, landscapes and architecture, the second dedicated to more experimental productions. The Kaiser Karl's exhibition offers the chance to admire the great artist's creativity, exposing for the first time in Rome, all that his eye was able to capture.

CHANEL Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2011
A lot of black and white, but also pastel colours for a rock-romantic Couture Chanel collection. Karl Lagerfeld has reinterpreted historical pieces of French fashion house; he has modernized and enlightened, with small crystals, the tweed suit worn over denim or sequin leggings. Silhouette is slim without forcing the body, everything is very light and fluid thanks to ultra-flat shoes: the only accessories on the catwalk along with black satin ras-de-cou.

CHANEL FW 11/12 Pre-Fall
Karl Lagerfeld entitled this collection Paris-Byzance. The set refers to the Byzantine world with its mosaics, decorations and opulence. Everything is so damn gold (too much): from the set to clothes. Embroideries, precious stones and feathers; everything is dazzling. Fabrics are opulent too: brocade, velvet, lace and chiffon, but also wool, textured wool and tweed. The bodies are wrapped in precious cocoons. Accessories are very ornate: clutches, leather belts with jeweled buckles, brocade handbags, suede cuissards with gold broches; and then necklaces, bracelets and little crowns. Very rich collection, but definitely too much to be a pre-fall; also too many outfits: 63!
