It may have been his best collection yet, it was undoubtedly his most elegant; perfect balance of proportions and good overlaps of colors: grey, brown, ivory and black. Since his first outfit, with elbow-length gloves and a floor-length skirt, head wrapped and a cape thrown back over the shoulders we felt that Rick Owens was referring to the sisters of previous collections. Many references to couturiers such as Charles James with his shoulder-peaks and cocoon capes; and Cristobal Balenciaga for the shapes, curves and volumes.

Dalla prima uscita, con guanti lunghi fino al gomito, la gonna che toccava il pavimento, la testa coperta e il mantello gettato alle spalle si intuiva che Rick Owens stava facendo riferimento alle suore delle precedenti collezioni.
Moltissimi i richiami a couturier come Charles James con i piumini con le spalle a picco e le mantelle a bozzolo; e a Cristobal Balenciaga per le forme, le curve e i volumi.
