In an interview with the French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, the Chairman of Condé Nast France, Xavier Romatet, said that a special team is working hard to launch in 2012 the French edition of Vanity Fair.
When asked who is going to be the editor, Romatet replied only with a grin, but the rumors point to Carine Roitfeld, former editor of Vogue Paris. Is it true? We will see!
The certain thing is that Madame Roitfeld is a talent, she's brilliant and provocative at the same time and could generate interest in a traditional magazine, which, as times of crisis in publishing, no one suffered from the lack.
E' stato proprio il Presidente della Condé Nast francese, Xavier Romatet, in un'intervista al giornale Le Journal du Dimanche, a confermare che un team molto speciale di professionisti sta lavorando seriamente per lanciare nel 2012 l'edizione francese di Vanity Fair.
Alla domanda su chi sarà il direttore, Romatet ha risposto solo con un sorriso, ma voci di corridoio dicono sia Carine Roitfeld, ex direttrice di Vogue Paris. Sarà vero? Chissà!
L'unica cosa certa è che la Roitfeld è un talento, è intelligente e provocatoria allo stesso tempo ed è una delle poche che potrebbe suscitare interesse per una rivista molto tradizionale, di cui, visti i tempi di crisi nell'editoria, nessuno soffriva la mancanza.
