It's been a year since the tragic death of Lee; the news of his suicide has shocked the fashion world that is poorer without him. McQueen had revolutionized the idea of fashion; everyone who went to his show has seen a mix of fashion and art installations. Every fashion show contained outfits designed to thrill, shock and communicate the illness of world and of himself. McQueen was the great genius of his generation, he was, like all the most interesting people, a complex and contradictory character. An anarchical drama queen.
