The man wearing the perfect suit is over; the classic man of Dolce & Gabbana shortened the lengths. On top, jackets and shirts are shorts, the sleeves stop just over the wrist. Pants are low rise with the edges above the ankle. Collection younger, even in the blinding colours and sequined jackets.
Finisce l'era dell'uomo in giacca e cravatta dalle proporzioni perfette; l'uomo classico di Dolce & Gabbana accorcia le lunghezze. Nella parte superiore, le giacche e le maglie arrivano in vita, mentre le maniche si fermano appena sopra il polso. Sotto, i pantaloni sono a vita alta e hanno il cavallo basso, con gli orli che si ritagliano sopra la caviglia. Collezione decisamente più giovane, anche nei colori e nelle accecanti paillettes delle giacche.
Jil Sander
Raf Simons, creative director of Jil Sander, conceives a perfect colorful collection without falling into ridiculous. Raf Simons only could succeed in this, with his lines that are always minimal and essential. He is experienced with a spectacular play of colours: black, white, electric blue, acid green, fuchsia, orange and red. His clothes (t-shirt quilts, hi-tech jackets and perfect sleeves) are the result of intense research and study on the technological design.
Quella di Jil Sander è una perfetta collezione maschile iper-colorata, e giusto un direttore creativo come Raf Simons poteva riuscire in quest'opera, senza scadere nel ridicolo. Lo stilista, mantenendo sempre le linee minimal ed essenziali, si sperimenta con una palette di colori che vira dal bianco al nero, passando per il blu elettrico, verde acido, arancio, fucsia e rosso. I suoi abiti, come le t-shirt imbottite, le giacche tecniche e le maniche a caduta perfetta, sono frutto di un'intensa ricerca tecnologica e di studio sul design.
Roberto Cavalli
Very 70s clothes! Handkerchiefs knotted around the neck, wool and denim uniforms, knits shawls and grey suits. The suit has a slim fit and the trousers are slightly flared on the bottom; the knit poncho is gorgeous (maybe the most interesting piece of the collection). It's a Cavalli's style softer and less aggressive than usual, despite the strong contrasts between warm and cold colours and the brightness of the silk and velvet tuxedos.
Abiti molto anni '70 tra fazzoletti annodati al collo, uniformi in lana e denim, scialli tricot e completi grigi da città. Completi slim fit e pantaloni leggermente svasati sotto; molto bello il poncho in maglia (forse l'unico pezzo davvero interessante della collezione). E' un Cavalli più soft e meno aggressivo del solito, nonostante i forti contrasti tra colori caldi e freddi e la luminosità dei completi in seta e velluto.
Burberry Prorsum
The Burberry's winter, conceived by Christopher Bailey, will be full of colours and all jackets. Orange, yellow, blue, burgundy, saffron, brown and cobalt blue on double breasted coats, duffle coat, down jackets, trench and classic jackets. Beautiful sweaters, the ones who can see when the coats are not closed; fur caps in cow are embarrassing. At the end, all with transparent PVC capes to protect from the fake rain.
Sarà un inverno segnato dal colore e da ogni tipo di capo spalla quello di Christopher Bailey per Burberry. Arancione, giallo, azzurro, zafferano, marrone, cobalto, vinaccia su cappotti doppiopetto, montgomery, piumini, trench e capi spalla più classici. Belli i maglioni, quelli che si riescono a vedere quando i cappotti non li coprono; imbarazzanti le coppole in pelliccia "muccata". Nell'uscita finale, tutti con le mantelline trasparenti in pvc per ripararsi da una pioggia fitta battente.
