For the fall/winter 2010-2011 collection called Trecedim, the darkness was celebrated by the fashion designer who also designed some of the costumes for the Lady Gaga's tour. While for the spring/summer 2011 Oscar Olima has created clothes that are pure light.
He used a neutral palette and has drawn tops, shorts, wide pants and tunics with a fine tailoring and strong details such as layers of fabrics and ruffles. In this new Paraiso collection, clothes recall a feeling of lightness. Almost ethereal suits that could be worn by ethereal beauties as Chloe Sevigny, Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton and Marion Cotillard.
Se per la collezione autunno/inverno 2010-2011 intitolata Trecedim, il fashion designer che ha disegnato anche alcuni dei costumi teatrali per il tour di Lady Gaga aveva celebrato le tenebre; per la collezione primavera/estate 2011, Oscar Olima ha creato degli abiti che sono pura luce.
Ha usato una tavolozza neutra e, con una precisione sartoriale, ha disegnato top, pantaloncini, pantaloni larghi e tuniche con strati di tessuto e volant. Per questa nuova collezione Paraiso gli abiti rimandano una sensazione di leggerezza. Abiti quasi impalpabili che potrebbero essere indossati da bellezze eteree come Chloe Sevigny, Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton e Marion Cotillard.
